Bike still going strong, Mines seems to have missed the recall notice. No problems other than the odd fuel stutter. Bike is still a delight to ride.
As far as two up goes i have given up trying, it is just to powerful. Even being restrained. It would be fine for a hardy passenger who is prepared to put up with the strain and vibes but for the normal pillion it is just too much.
So with that i mind I have purchased a new Honda ST1300 Pan European for two up duties. Getting it in a few weeks. We tried a demo out about a month ago and we got on with it so well. A few weeks later the opportunity arose and i have taken it.
So mostly solo work for the VFR1200 now and I can't honestly say there is not a better bike on the planet for it.
